Charlotte Moss Book Signing

A. HOME Summit was thrilled to kick off the Summer entertaining season on Tuesday, June 26th with a book signing event featuring renowned interior decorator and tastemaker, Charlotte Moss. A. HOME, along with 150 of our closest friends, celebrated Charlotte and her tenth book, Charlotte Moss Entertains, with an inspirational evening featuring a reading from Moss plus tips highlighting the finer points of hosting, from décor and menus to the art of seating guests to keep the conversation flowing.

Owner of A. HOME, Ashley Moos, says of Moss, “Charlotte has quite literally laid a foundation that so many try to emulate for how to live a classically chic, thoughtful, and well-appointed life. As a long-time admirer of her work, I find her authenticity so appealing and I’m extremely excited to be able to share it with our clients.”

Charlotte Moss inspires readers to imbue everyday life with elegance and romance. Moss focuses on events—as small as breakfast in bed or lunch on the porch or as elaborate as a festive Christmas luncheon or large dinner party. Moss celebrates the day-to-day by bringing her enthusiasm, impeccable style, and Southern roots to every domestic activity. Setting the table becomes everyday decorating, encouraging readers to put together stylish combinations of placemats, linens, china, tableware, and flowers. From tasteful meals for one to grand occasions for friends and family, Moss chronicles her own aptitude for hospitality and encourages readers to find their individual sense of expression.

The evening included a generous wine offering sponsored by Roey Dangler and Winnie Cavazini of Sotheby's Prominent Properties and expertly curated by Summit House Bar and Restaurant. Sweet Nothings donated chocolates and other delicious treats. A portion of all proceeds from the evening benefited the Peace of Mind Brain Health Initiative at Trinitas Health Foundation.
